BEREAVED PARENTS
We are so sorry for your loss.
Losing a child is incredibly painful, and our thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Please know you are not alone, we are here to listen, support you, and walk alongside you in any way we can.
At Shropshire Telford and Wrekin Local Maternity and Neonatal Service, we are committed to ensuring every parent and family feels heard and valued. Your voice matters, and your experiences can help us improve the care we provide.
We are truly grateful if you feel able to share your story with us. We understand how emotional this can be, so please only do so if or when you feel ready. Below, you’ll find details of organisations that may offer additional support if you need it.
You will also find a link to our feedback form designed to capture your thoughts. You may wish to tell us about a particular team or share whether you felt treated with compassion, received clear information, or were supported in making decisions about your care.
We hold every experience shared with us with deep care and respect. Even in the midst of your pain, your reflections can help us understand what felt supportive and where more could have been done to help. Your voice matters deeply, and by sharing your story, you are helping to shape kinder, more compassionate care for other families in the future.
Your insights will be included in our reports to the Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS) board, helping us identify areas for meaningful improvements in partnership with local NHS teams.
The feedback form can be found here: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/BTMJ27/
